Mayo men and MicksGarage.com founders, Michael and Ciaran Crean are proud to announce a five-year sponsorship deal between
MicksGarage.com and
Knockmore GAA Club. With Micksgarage.com being title shirt sponsors
Michael Crean (AKA Mick) had the following to say:
"We're delighted to get on-board as Knockmore GAA shirt sponsors, it's a great club to be involved with. They benefit the local community hugely and have been very successful over the years, right through the ranks, from junior to senior teams, so it's nice to be able to give a little something back to the club."
Knockmore G.A.A. Club was a relative latecomer to the ranks of the Gaelic Athletic Association only claiming their first title in 1968 when they won the North Mayo junior championship. Within four years an intermediate title was won before the remarkable achievement of capturing the senior county and provincial championships followed only a year later. Today the club is testament to that early sense of purpose. Since gaining its senior status in 1972 the club has never lost this status and has won 8 county senior titles and 3 senior provincial titles. Since 1971 the club has won 8 Division 1 leagues. They have won divisional and county titles at all age groups; with last year’s U18 team winning the inaugural Connacht Championship
The club has 4 players on the current
Mayo GAA Senior panel, Kevin Mcloughlin, Shane McHale, Darren McHale and Keith Ruttledge. Colm Reape is on the Mayo U21 panel
