It can be difficult for the average driver to tell when a wheel bearing starts to fail. Even seasoned mechanics can find it tricky as the sound can echo through the car. An indication that your wheel bearing might be failing is from an emitted whirring or droning sound, the longer it's left, the louder it becomes. It may also be accompanied by a slight vibration. We recommend having your bearings checked once any faults are suspected.
