A vehicle is only as good as the components that it uses. With Apec, those components are built to OE specifications to guarantee the performance customers and installers expect with a unique aftermarket twist.
Brake calipers are responsible for pressing the brake pads against the brake discs in order to create friction and slow down a vehicle. Advanced brake caliper designs often feature two separate pistons that move inwards when pressure is applied – one piston pushing the inner pad while another pushes the outer pad. The design of these components greatly affects how quickly and efficiently your brakes can stop you during emergency situations.
All Apec calipers are the result of sophisticated, ISO-accredited remanufacturing designed to provide reliable quality while also preserving our planet’s precious resources. Sustainable production uses a controlled build process in which the original brake caliper is fully disassembled, meticulously cleaned and rebuilt with new internal and rubber wear components. Each Apec brake caliper is tested using either brake fluid or air before being inspected and approved against a master sample for consistently superior levels of quality and reliability.
All Apec brake calipers are protected through cataphoresis plating and other durable surface treatments at Apec's remanufacturing site for enhanced resistance to corrosion and universal application quality.
