As we are in the middle of summer and the weather is finally beginning to improve, more and more people are out washing their cars. For some people its a way of saving money but for car fanatics, it can be therapeutic and satisfying to do it yourself. With the range of products available to the everyday consumer improving constantly, the margin between professional cleaning and DIY cleaning grows smaller. The latest trend that has taken the home cleaning to the next level is snow foam. This thick snow white solution is getting car lovers everywhere itching to wash their cars themselves. Covering the car in a blanket of white this product does a brilliant job at removing dirt and grime. If you haven’t seen the videos on our YouTube go watch them now, the dripping foam resembles that of a melted ice cream, its delightful.
So how do you apply this solution you ask? This is where our latest product comes into play. We’ve recently acquired a range of premium snow foam lances that are going to take your car cleaning routine to the next level. Each lance is brand specific, ensuring the best results possible. We will be stocking the following:
This snow foam gun connects to your pressure washer, combing pressurised water with your snow foam detergent, this is what creates that wondering white blanket effect. The lance itself is constructed to withstand frequent use, its solid brass internal is encased in thick and durable plastic. Thanks to the brass, there is little chance of chemical erosion over time, you will only ever need to buy one! These lances work well with the best snow foam solutions, we recommend Autoglyms Polar range, a premium brand that offers a three stage cleaning process.
How to use Snow Foam Lance:
The snow foam lance works in the same way as a regular pressure washer attachment, slotting into place with the fitting adapter. Simply connect the head of the lance to the brass connector then onto your model specific adaptor. You can now connect the tube to the head of the lance filling the bottle with the snow foam formula of your choice. If you want to change the thickness of the snow foam that comes out all you have to do is twist the cap on the front of the lance, this changes the product to water ratio allowing for a thicker and thinner spray depending on preference.
Recommended Products:
We have a great selection of products that work brilliantly with our new lances, our most comprehensive package is Autoglym Snow Foam. This comes with the following products:

The second stage is applying Polar Wash to your vehicle. It is recommended to do a 50:50 mix between product and water. Applying the product from the bottom up again covering the vehicle completely including the windscreen and mirrors. Once fully covered agitate with a sponge or wash mitt to break down the tough dirt and grime. Once complete rinse the solution off the car.

The final stage is to apply the Polar Seal to the paintwork. This creates a hydrophobic layer which causes water to bead and run off the paintwork.
